The moon shone so bright tonight,
Walking home I seemed to be dancing,
My head felt so incredibly light,
This heart of mine is now prancing

Celebrating your birth
With wine and with mirth
There was nothing missing this evening,
Nothing missing, except, you,
on my leaving.

I'll remember this day, above all
those that be,
For this day is the day,
You first said you loved me
